We are an Anglican parish of two churches, situated in the Cynon Valley of South Wales, about twenty miles north of Cardiff. Our two churches, St Winifred’s (Penrhiwceiber) and All Saints (Matthewstown), are friendly and welcoming places, and we hope that you will come and visit us one day if you have not already done so.

Our parish is part of the Diocese of Llandaff, and we play a full part in the life of the diocese. We share a common vision, which is “to develop the ministry and discipleship of all God’s people so that, transformed ourselves, we may play our part in the transformation of God’s world.” Our churches are places where Jesus Christ is worshipped, preached and adored; places where he is present in word and sacrament; places where his people are given the spiritual strength to serve him in the world.

Croeso i wefan Plwy Penrhiwceiber, Matthewstown ac Ynysboeth.

Plwy Anglicanaidd ydym ni a chennym ddwy eglwys yng Nghwm Cynon, De Cymru, ryw ugain milltir i'r gogledd o Gaerdydd. Mae croeso cynnes i 
bawb yn ein dwy eglwys, y naill un wedi'i chysegru i Santes Gwenffrewi 
(Penrhiwceiber) a'r llall i'r Holl Saint (Matthewstown). Mawr obeithiwn y byddwch yn ymweld â ni rywbryd os nad ydych wedi gwneud eisoes.

Mae ein plwyf o fewn Esgobaeth Llandaf lle byddwn ni'n chwarae rhan 
bwysig ym mywyd yr esgobaeth. Rydym i gyd yn glynu at yr un  weledigaeth, sef i "ddatblygu offeiriadaeth a disgyblaeth holl bobl Duw fel ein bod yn gallu, trwy ein trawsnewidiad ni, chwarae ein rhan yn nhrawsnewidiad byd Duw." Yma yn ein heglwysi, fe addolir Iesu Grist ac fe bregethir ei efengyl; yma fe deimlir ei bresenoldeb trwy'r Cymun a'r Gair; yma y mae pobl yn derbyn y dewrder ysbrydol i'w wasanaethu yn y byd.

Gobeithiwn y byddwch chi'n oedi ychydig ar y wefan yma a gweld dros 
eich hunan y gweithgareddau sydd yn rhan anatod o fywyd ein plwyf. Wrth i chi bori'r wefan, gofynnwn i chi weddïo dros y sawl sydd yn byw, yn addoli, ac yn gweinidogaethu yn ein plwyf.
